Hello, I am Vickie, owner of Salon Bella Dona. I have been in the beauty business for over 25 years. I have been training all over the country. I have been extensively training in dry cutting and razor cuts. I work with a lot of people with very curly hair as well as thick, l specialize in all hair textures and types. We are all Aveda trained colorists as well. I have used and worked with most of the top color lines as well. Aveda, to me is the best there is, that is why we are an Aveda Salon.

Stephanie D. McKinney
Master Designer | Color Correction Specialist | Educator
With nearly 21 years behind the chair and approximately 18 years in cosmetology education, Stephanie has built her career around two things she loves most: creating beautiful hair and helping others grow within the beauty industry.
Her education career began with Paul Mitchell Schools in Knoxville, where she spent several years educating future professionals before expanding into admissions, enrollment, student development, and leadership. She later transitioned to the Murfreesboro/Nashville area, where she served in a leadership role supporting the student body while continuing to develop her passion for coaching and mentorship.
A defining point in Stephanie’s career came when she was selected by her regional director to attend the John Paul Mitchell Systems Academy and become a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS). In that role, she combined her experience behind the chair with her love of education, hosting in-salon education and professional classes while continuing to educate future professionals through Paul Mitchell Schools.
Stephanie also brings a background in marketing, sales, small-business development, and community relations, having previously served as a marketing and sales coordinator for her local Chamber of Commerce while continuing her career as a hairstylist. That experience has given her a unique understanding of not only the artistry of cosmetology, but also the business behind building a successful career in the industry.
Today, Stephanie continues that journey as a Cosmetology Instructor with Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) during the week, where she educates, coaches, mentors, and prepares future professionals for successful careers in cosmetology.
On the weekends, you'll find her behind the chair at Salon Bella Dona as a Master Designer and Color Correction Specialist. Her specialties include custom hair color, blonding, dimensional color, corrective color, haircutting, and personalized transformations. She believes every guest deserves a thorough consultation, an individualized plan, and beautiful results created with the health and integrity of the hair in mind.
But her vision for Salon Bella Dona extends beyond the chair. Stephanie is excited to work alongside salon owner Vickie Miller and the Salon Bella Dona team toward future educational opportunities within the salon, including continued education, mentorship, onboarding and development of new talent, and creating an environment where both established and emerging stylists can continue to grow.
